Isaac has refound solace in his thumb. He still doesn’t suck it a lot, but he’ll turn to it pretty quickly when he’s upset or in between bites of food. It’s interesting how those habits can come and go.
He continues to work on his crawling skills. Many times he'll go forward on his hands and knees and then he'll flatten out for the last bit. But if he really wants to get somewhere then he does a move that looks more like the Butterfly stroke.
One of Isaac's main improvements this week was getting the balance and strength to move to a sitting position from his belly. It's nice for me because then I don't have to come rescue him when he's flattened himself. Now he gets up on his own!
This last picture is of Isaac watching, as my mom dismantles his precious swing that he spent so many of his early days in. Now he is too big for it, so it is time to retire the swing till the next little one comes along.
Already he grows up so fast.
